Once upon a time....
“Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” ― G.K. Chesterton

Fashion Show
Edith got us tickets to see Clinton from What Not To Wear, at Macy's. We had to take Jill, it was the first of many fashionable events she will be attending:) They had a little show then Clinton answered questions and critiqued one outfit, in which he told a lady her shoes looked like baked potatoes; the lady responded with " I just had my hip replaced they are all I can wear". The poor lady took the criticism well, as she did volunteer to be critiqued; I'm just glad I wasn't up there!

Guess who went swimming!
it was a nice day and got up to 80 degrees, so we decided to take the babe swimming. She did so well, and didn't even cry. I was holding her on her belly so she could kick but she keep licking the water, haha like a puppy or something; it was hilarious. I am hoping to get her really comfortable with water early on because i've never been an excellent swimmer.

Easter
Marks Mom invited us to go to church with her on Easter Sunday. She goes to the Korean Baptist church, Lucky for us on Easter they combine with the American ward. So half was in English and what wasn't was up on the board in subtitles. I had never been to a Baptist church before, I absolutely loved it. They had not only the choir but some other people sing and the lyrics to the songs were beautiful; I really appreciated them. The youth group did a dance and they even acted out a skit for the kids which I think is great, it kept everyone involved and interested; then the pastor gave a sermon. I loved how much energy there was, it seemed like everyone there really had a passion for it. After the meeting they always cook a ton of Korean food, which you can never complain about.
The kids performed as well it was adorable, but I really took this pic because I love the black and white stripped dress that little girl is wearing! It was absolutely fabulous, I want it for myself.
Mark makes a special effort to look like a creep in all photos

Festival of Colors
Every year the Krishna Temple in Spanish fork holds a traditional Feastival of Colors. I'd been dying to go for a few years but had to work every time! This year we had the day open so we got Paul and Joanne and took a trip down south. There were thousands of people there, we had to park at least 2 miles away and hike up, poor Spanish Fork isn't meant for that many people. They had a live band playing music from India and the colors were flying everywhere; it was beautiful to see. You can buy bags of color and pretty much throw them at who and whatever you want. It was a completely new experience and we had a blast.... ha but we'll see if we return.

March 18th, 2012- Jill's Blessing
My Dad gave Jill a beautiful blessing and my Mom's wonderful friend Jo Ellen was able to write down the blessing in short hand so we have it to keep forever and frame! I am so grateful to all those who came to share that special day with us. I'm especially grateful for my wonderful husband who supports all my LDS traditions and beliefs. It was a beautiful day, my Dad got most of the pictures which I need to get from him but for now here are the few I took.
My best friend from childhood was able to make it, I was just so excited the whole time that she was there.
